Reporting to: General Manager –Food & Beverages.
KRA:
R&D in order to introduce new food & beverage products & improve marketplace competitiveness.
Conceptualize & execute national level product launch.
Continual development of current products.
Introduce variations in current menu / product range.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Specialized in food& beverages operations.
Knowledge of new and innovative food & beverages in market.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently.
Self-motivated & responsible.
Complaint management.
Comfortable with low - medium travel frequency.

Qualifications:
Exposure:
BHM
6-10 yrs experience in bakery & confectionary in a Star hotel
Experienced in production & defining SOP

Duties & Responsibilities:
Financial indicators:
Conceptualizing new menu/ products based on marketing and operations feedback.
Ensuring the Margins are improved on local menu.
Broadening day parts ahead of trends.
Ensuring the Standardization of recipes across the regions.
Cutting down on the Wastages pertaining to the shelf life enhancement / cut wastage points.
Ensuring the local menu is changed once every quarter.
Ensuring new national menu is launched every 6 months.
.Customer Orientation:
Conducting periodical competitor watch for the new Food trends.
work with vendors for consistent quality, enhance no of points of contact, newer alternatives
Document and analyze customer feedback.
Process Indicators:
Ensuring standardisation and adherence of recipes across the country.
Document the menu architecture change related to NPD.
Ensuring quality batch sampling of the food products.
Formulation of SOP for NPD from concept to market.
Define training content for product training of vendors.
Defining process for using customer feedback data for next NPD on a quarterly based analysis
Regular Market research/survey locally and internationally for awareness of current and future trends in food analyze market trends, consumer preferences and perceptions.
Learning & Development:
Ensuring training programs for the development and growth of team.
Ensuring the periodical confirmations & appraisals of the team.
