Job Description for Accounts Manager :

 Ensure that Books of Accounts of the unit are maintained properly.
 Ensure that payment of statutory dues is done on or before due dates.
 Ensure that all team members adhere to the SOP and follow the rules and regulations of the organisation.
 Staff training and development.
 Ensure proper co-ordination with Other departments, Auditors and external authorities

Routine activities associated with job (Please have separate sections for accountable / responsible)

Activities accountable for :
 To review all the financial reports of the unit and analyze reasons for the variances (from established targets and norms) with a view to plan corrective action.
 To prepare a schedule of work,i.e.,Daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly for the departmental activities and to ensure that work is done properly.
 Shall be responsible towards keeping the books of Accounts in a proper manner.
 Shall be responsible towards to ensure that the cross checks and controls are in place towards the matters involving commercial transactions as well as guidelines and policies are followed by the other departments in such issues.

Activities responsible for but not accountable for :
 To keep himself abreast of existing and potential competition and shall interact within and with other departments regarding corrective action to be taken.
 To represent the Accounts department in any review or other meeting as and when required.
 Any other assignment advised by the Management from time to time.
 Will be responsible for all accounts related task.
