To ensure high level of maintenance standards for building, machinery, plant, furniture fixture and equipment in all the departments and to assist Director of Engineering with the following specific responsibilities.
– Optimize savings in energy expenses by implementing energy conservation programs.
– Recommend and ensure key standards for the hotel engineering department.
– Monitor repair schedules of rooms and public areas. Guides the team in day to day operations of the hotel.
– Ensure government regulations for Boilers, electrical installations, environmental issues etc. are strictly followed.
– Monitor HLP file, R & M expenses and prepare PMP schedules on a regular basis.
– Ensure proper functioning of work request system through desk attendants
– Ensure proper upkeep of fire safety system.
– Recommend changes in system and procedures to increase efficiency and improve service.
– Assist the Director of Engineering in preparation of budgets.
– Ensure proper training and development of staff to enhance skills and encourage multifunctional expertise.
